Its always a great choice to start the New Year off on the right foot and what better way to do that then cleaning up your diet? Diet impacts every part of your health, not just filling that growling stomach (which can be helped with this too!) I have been dancing with different "diets" for going on three years now, starting with keto, animal based, paleo. etc. I have landed somewhere in the middle of all three.
I have never really been a "diet" person, but after I had my first son, My occasional excema, became chronic aalongside a few horomonal imbalances that needed immediate adressing. Being three years in and fully breastfeeding our second son, I can honestly say cleaning up my diet has changed my life for the better! Minimizing carbs and increasing my protein has made me a happier, more productive, and more energetic human.
Since I am still breastfeeding I need to make sure I am eating enough calories through out the day. This can be a challenge for me sometimes, the downside to eating more protien is I am less hungry throughout the day (which ultimately is a plus, to lose weight when you are not breastfeeding!) So to make sure I am eating enough and not creating skin issues, I make sure I eat breakfast and add a minimal carbs at this meal.
Here are three cozy breakfasts that are nutrient dense, clean & simple to make. Take a screenshot and save these cute recipe cards for later!
